But, the one that has the most impact on our children and families is our nurses – their compassion, knowledge and dedication really is what makes this children’s hospital such a special place.

Whether an experienced RN or a recent graduate, our nurses come to Childrens Hospital Los Angeles from all over the country because they want to work at the forefront of pediatric healthcare, because Los Angeles is one of America’s most exciting cities and because of the warmth and welcoming of the people here – physicians, nurses and other caregivers, and those who support them.

I made the decision to move to Los Angeles almost three decades ago.
