Donate Toys

Helping a child "just be a kid" while in the hospital can be crucial to the recovery process.  The hospital maintains a Toy Room, stocked through the generosity of our community supporters.  Approximately 500 toys per week are given to patients, based on the guidelines below:

• One toy per week that a patient is in the hospital
• One toy for a procedure or surgery
• One toy for a birthday
• Additional toys may be given if children cannot bring toys from home

The hospital's need for toys to help our patients cope with hospitalization is great. 
We encourage donations of toys.  To make sure that the toys you donate are able to be given to our patients, please follow the simple guidelines provided below:

Toy Donation Guidelines

• Donate ONLY new toys (to prevent infection)
• Do NOT gift-wrap toys (we check each toy for safety)
• Donate toys that can be used in bed
• Check our toy list for items that are preferred by our patients
• To prevent infection, we must limit the number of people who visit our patients (unfortunately, you will not be able to personally deliver the toys you donate)

Please know your gifts will brighten the days of our patients.
