Bequest

Contact our Gift Planning Officers

A bequest is one of the simplest ways to make a planned gift.

It involves making a contribution through your will or living trust.  Such a gift gives you the chance to make a difference in the lives of children far into the future.

How it works:
You can choose from among several options for making a charitable bequest:

  • Bequeath a specific dollar amount to the hospital (the most common method)
  • Give a percentage of your estate’s net value
  • Bequeath part or all of your “residuary estate,” (the hospital will receive all or part of what remains in your estate after all other bequests and obligations are satisfied)

NOTE:  Although the information set forth herein is believed to be accurate, you should consult your attorney or other tax advisor prior to taking any action.
