Francine R. Kaufman, MD
Dr. Kaufman is head of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism and director of the Center for Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
She is the past president of the American Diabetes Association and professor of pediatrics at the Keck School of Medicine. Her fight against diabetes led her to author the nationally-acclaimed book "Diabesity: The Obesity-Diabetes Epidemic That Threatens America - And What We Must Do to Stop It."

Vernon T. Tolo, MD
Dr. Tolo is head of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery and director of the Childrens Orthopaedic Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Dr. Tolo is a past president of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is the John C. Wilson, Jr., Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Keck School.
