Hospital of Choice Award 2007

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is one of only 15 hospitals in California - and just one of seven children's hospitals nationwide - to receive a 2007 Hospital of Choice Award from the American Alliance of Healthcare Providers (AAHP), an award highlighting "America's Most Customer-Friendly Hospitals."
 
The Award recognizes hospitals that have a proven track record in successfully meeting or exceeding the expectations of their patients and have earned the respect and admiration of the physicians who refer their patients.  It rewards hospitals that:

• go beyond their walls in pursuit of excellence and quality care
• collaborate with with physicians and health care organizations in the community
• collaborate with managed care organizations and other payors

In short, the AAHP says, “…we are seeking hospitals that care about all their customers.”
