Finding a balance between work and your personal life can be a real challenge. Through a comprehensive selection of services, we strive to provide the resources you need to fulfill your commitments to both.

Child Development Center

The Child Development Center is our quality on-site child care program. It is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Children are accepted starting from the age of 6 weeks old and through kindergarten age.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

To help employees through difficult times, we offer confidential assistance via its Employee Assistance Program (EAP).  This programs offers assessment, counseling, consultations and referral services for employees, physicians, volunteers, students and their immediate families.

Focus One Credit Union

The Focus One Credit Union provides virtually all the financial products and services you will ever need, from checking and savings accounts to auto loans and home loans.
Pre-Paid Legal.  This is a monthly group membership plan.  For $15.95/month, the plan covers all eligible family members for concerns including suspended drivers license, IRS audit protection, document review, traffic court representation, lawsuit defense, personal advisement, major accident defense, creditor assistance, legal, will, tax and finance questions.

Tuition Assistance

We offer tuition reimbursement for coursework that is approved by an employee's manager; it reimburses eligible employees 75% of tuition and registration fees up to $300 per quarter. For further information on tuition reimbursement or any of the hospital's comprehensive benefits, please call Human Resources at (323) 361-2558.

Work Life Benefits

Work Life Benefits is a free, confidential resource and referral benefit offered by CHLA for you and your family members.  The care consultants at Work Life Benefits can help save you time and energy by locating a wide range of resources for just about any family situation that may arise. There are nationwide listings and profiles of programs and services, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

On-site Chair Massage

On-site Chair Massage are offered to employees a few times per month for only $10.00 per fifteen-minute massage.

Work Perks Benefits

The "Work Perks" Booklet contains over 100 discounts and promotions available to CHLA staff, offered by local businesses.

American Dream HomeOwnership Program
