Emergency Department
As one of the region's few Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers, designated by the Los Angeles County EMS Agency, Childrens Hospital treats more than 1,500 pediatric trauma patients per year. We treat more than 62,000 children per year. The Childrens Emergency Transport Program ensures that children with critical illness or injuries can be transported to our hospital when seconds count. Childrens Hospital Los Angeles is leading countywide disaster preparedness efforts with its Pediatric Disaster Resource Center. |
