Donate Blood  

Donating blood is one way to make a significant contribution to our patients this holiday season.  As the winter holidays turn the attention of most towards gift-purchasing activities and readying for fun occasions with family and friends, the blood banks become very low both at our hospital and across the county.  Please remember that a blood transfusion can save a life.

Order holiday cards featuring art created by patients at our hospital.

Patient art is created each year through the Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists In Residence Program.

Sponsor a Holiday Party for Our Patients

Brighten the spirits of our young patients during the holidays by sponsoring a patient party. 
Each party benefits as many as 200 children, from toddlers to teens.
Costs to underwrite a holiday party that incorporates the medical needs of our patients are $3,500. 
As a sponsor, you will be invited to join in the festivities.

The hospital delivers toys to lift the spirits of our patients.
Toy deliveries are made possible through individual donations and community toy drives.
Please call (323) 361-2371 to schedule a time to deliver your donation or a toy drive.
A Toy List has been provided to help you in making selections appropriate for our patients.

Sponsor Holiday Gifts for a Needy Family with a Child at Our Hospital

Members of our hospital's social work staff consistently identify families of our patients who are without food and basic needs during the holidays.  These families often have chronically ill or injured children receiving care at our hospital.  To sponsor holiday gifts for one of these families, please visit the Holidays from the Heart Program's Website.
