Get Involved

Childrens Hospital offers stellar care for our patients.  However, individuals in our community have the power to significantly enhance the lives of our patients through direct involvement with our hospital. 

Blood Donations

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles performs more surgical procedures than any other medical facility in Southern California.  The needs of our patients for transfusions to support their fragile lives while they recover from these procedures are great.  We encourage you to get involved with our hospital by donating regularly at our Blood Donor Center.

Donate Toys

Play is one of the most significant highlights of being a child.  To help our patients feel like "kids" we provide them with toys regularly and at significant milestones during their stay.  On occasions when a patient's family cannot bring toys from home for their child's play hours, toys donated from our supporters become especially meaningful.  We encourage you to become a regular toy donor or consider hosting a toy drive to collect toys from friends, neighbors, and coworkers. 

Volunteer at our Hospital

We could not provide many of the supportive programs and services that are of such great benefit to our patients and their families without involvement from generous volunteers.  We offer many opportunities to support our patients through volunteer service.
